The ZINGO® Edge Team Trial

Give your squad the opportunity to experience ZINGO during a real team training session.

We're selecting adult GAA, soccer, rugby, hurling, camogie and other sports teams across Ireland for a complimentary ZINGO squad trial.

Selected clubs will receive ZINGO product for up to 20 adult players, complete a team training session and share brief feedback on the experience.

Teams already using STATSports or another GPS performance tracker can also apply for a special GPS-tracked Edge Session.

This is not a professional contract or cash-sponsorship programme. It is a limited product trial for adult sports clubs that train consistently, take performance seriously and can share genuine feedback and content from the session.

There is no charge for selected clubs. Product allocation will be based on the number of participating adult players and the agreed trial format.

Applications close 30 June 2026. Selected clubs complete their Edge Session by 14 September 2026.

How the Edge Team Trial Works

Apply as a club
A coach, manager, captain or committee member applies on behalf of an adult team. Tell us about your sport, squad and upcoming training schedule.

Run your Edge Session
Selected teams receive a complimentary ZINGO squad supply and incorporate it into an agreed adult training session, following the directions and warnings on the product.

Share the experience
Send us a team photo or short video, complete a brief feedback form and share one social-media post tagging @zingo.buzz.

Does your squad already use STATSports, Catapult, PlayerData or another GPS performance system?

Selected GPS teams can compare a normal baseline training session with a later, reasonably similar ZINGO Edge Session using the data the club already collects.

  • Accelerations and decelerations

Only anonymised or aggregate team data should be submitted. Do not submit player names or personally identifiable individual performance data.

This is a real-world club session comparison, not a controlled scientific study. Training structure, weather, attendance and other factors can affect results. Participation does not guarantee improved performance.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are open to established adult teams and clubs across Ireland, including:

Applications must be submitted by an authorised adult club representative. All players receiving or using the product through this programme must be aged 18 or over.

Priority may be given to teams that

  • Train consistently during July, August and early September 2026
  • Can complete the trial by 14 September 2026
  • Have an active club social-media account
  • Can provide a good-quality team photo or short video
  • Are willing to share genuine player feedback
  • Already use a GPS performance-tracking system

What's involved?

ZINGO provides

The club agrees to

  • Nominate one adult club contact
  • Distribute product only to participating adults aged 18+
  • Complete the agreed session before 14 September 2026
  • Provide one team photo or short video
  • Publish at least one post or reel tagging @zingo.buzz
  • Complete a short post-session feedback form
  • Permit ZINGO to repost submitted club content
  • Provide anonymised summary data if selected for the GPS option

Selection is limited and applying does not guarantee acceptance. Exact product quantities and trial arrangements will be confirmed directly with each selected club.

Edge Trial FAQ

When is the application deadline?
Applications close at 23:59 (Irish time) on 30 June 2026. Selected clubs will be contacted after that date. Each selected team must complete its Edge Session before 14 September 2026.
Is the trial really complimentary?
Yes. Selected clubs will receive the agreed trial product without charge. Exact quantities depend on squad size and the agreed trial format.
Does our team need to use GPS tracking?
No. Any suitable adult team can apply for the standard Edge Team Session. GPS tracking is only required for the optional GPS Edge Session.
Is this a cash-sponsorship programme?
No. This is a limited product-trial and content programme. It does not include cash sponsorship.
Can youth or underage teams apply?
No. The programme is restricted to adult teams, and products may only be supplied to or used by participants aged 18 or over.
Can individual athletes apply?
This particular programme is for established teams and clubs. Applications should be made by an authorised club representative.
What will GPS teams need to provide?
Only anonymised or aggregate team information from the agreed sessions. Clubs should not submit player names or identifiable individual performance records.
Are clubs guaranteed to be featured by ZINGO?
No. ZINGO may repost or feature selected content, but participation does not guarantee a dedicated brand feature.

The ZINGO Edge Team Trial is available only to selected adult clubs in Ireland. All recipients and participants must be aged 18 or over.
