Estimate your target caffeine and pouch count
Enter your weight, choose a target dose, and account for any caffeine you've already had today. We'll estimate the additional caffeine you might need and how many ZINGO® pouches that equals — using a standard 5-hour half-life model.
Why 3 mg/kg?
One of the most widely studied caffeine amounts in football and team sport. Set a different value if you have your own preference.
5-hour half-life
Caffeine still active is estimated using a standard 5-hour half-life. Real metabolism varies by person.
400 mg daily limit
A commonly cited general adult daily caffeine limit. Total intake from all sources still matters.
1. Your details
Enter your body weight and pick a target dose per kilogram.
0 means right now. Use 0.5 for half-time, 2 for after a meeting, etc.
2. Caffeine you've already had
Add coffee, tea, energy drinks, etc. We'll estimate what's still active using a 5-hour half-life.
Quick guide: filter coffee ≈ 95mg · espresso ≈ 65mg · latte ≈ 75mg · tea ≈ 40mg · cola ≈ 35mg · standard energy drink ≈ 80mg.
3 mg/kg target for a 75 kg person = ~225 mg.
Match-day split-dose tip
For longer matches, splitting your dose across the warm-up window and half-time can be more effective than a single hit. Aim for the bulk before kick-off and a top-up at half-time if your total is >200 mg.
